We're back for a fourth time this July at the Asics London 10K in Westminster.

We’ll be operating the aid station at THE SANCTUARY, BEHIND WESTMINSTER ABBEY - SW1P 3JS The task itself amounts to handing out water to sweltering runners whilst yelling encouragement in their faces - you’ll love it!

Here are run report from the 2018 , 2019 and 2021 events to get a sense of what to expect.

So get your red shirt on, and come along and cheer-on the GoodGymmers competing in the race, help increase the visibility of GoodGym at this busy high-profile event, and get a little something for your trouble…

Incentives

LimeLight Sports offer each GoodGym volunteer:

• A free place on an upcoming LimeLight Sports race. So: Hackney Half Marathon 2024, Asics London 10K 2024, Oxford Half 2024, Etape Caledonia 2024, or a free annual LimeLight Sport membership. The membership includes up to 50% off, and no booking fees on race entries.
• Volunteer travel expenses can also be claimed, for London events this is up to £15 for public transport travel or cycling.
• Breakfast on the day.

Details

Times: 7:30 – 13:00 (although we ordinarily get signed-off rather before this)

Getting there: Waterloo and Charing Cross mainlines, Westminster and Embankment Undergrounds are all nearby. Be aware some buses on the North side of the river will be on diversion because of the race.

We’re going to be at Hackney Half the Asics London 10K and the London Triathlon this year. If you volunteer at more than one of these events, the incentive can be different. In that case it’s two of the above, or 50% off entry to either: Blenheim Triathlon 2024, London Triathlon 2024 or London Duathlon 2024.
