Date and time
09:00 - 10:45For the first time in several years the Battersea Arts Centre is able to restart its tradition of hosting a Christmas Day party at Battersea Arts Centre this year offering a fun and magical celebration for those local families and residents who may struggle, financially or emotionally, with the festive season.
They need help from volunteers to support them on the day. Without it they would not be able to offer this event out to local people who may be struggling this year.
The event will take place in the Grand Hall on Christmas day and guests will be referred through local networks and organisations.
Could you join as a volunteer on the day? If so, they need support in the following areas:
· Welcoming guests
· Decorating and setting up
· Helping us to serve lunch
· Managing the cloakroom
· Assisting with transport
· Entertainment
· General pastoral care
· Clearing down
