Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

If you love live music then this in the community mission for you! On 19th September, the British Heart Foundation will be having a musician called Ines Rae performing in the Kingson store. She is a big supporter of the BHF and she is performing in some stores up and down the country.

We have been asked by Christine at the BHF store to help marshall this event alongside the staff that normally work there. So not only will we be helping the BHF but we will get an up close watch of her performance. So many boxes ticked here!

This is an amazing opportunity for the music lovers amongst us so get signed up as soon as you can. The event will start at 6.30pm and we will need to be at the British Heart Foundation for that time. See you there!

More event information Every three minutes in the UK someone loses a loved one to a heart or circulatory disease. And more than half of us will get a heart or circulatory condition in our lifetime. Ines Rae (musician and singer) wants to change that.

“Growing up, dad suffered from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a disease of the heart muscle. I didn’t realise how severe his condition was, and it was getting worse. But thanks to a lifesaving heart transplant, I get to spend so many more moments with him. And I couldn’t be more grateful.”

To raise money and awareness for heart and circulatory diseases, Ines and her dad are playing a series of gigs in British Heart Foundation stores throughout the UK this summer. “Among the songs she will be performing is a special one she wrote, inspired by her dad, called "Someone Else’s Heart".

Come join us and support Ines in her efforts to help fund British Heart Foundation groundbreaking research to save and improve more lives – creating more moments between loved ones.

Hey team,

I have just heard from Christine at the BHF shop that the Ines Rae concert will now not be happening in Kingston. There have been some issues at head office level so they have had to cancel the event.

Thank you for offering your help with marshalling and I'm really sad that we can't support and attend this fun event as well.

We do have our regular group run on Tuesday 17th September at 6.30pm so please come and help us get a [https://www.goodgym.org/v3/sessions/help-us-bring-the-forest-school-allotment-up-to-scratch](Forest School allotment up to scratch).

Hope to see you then.
