Final Straw SolentFinal Straw and the University of Portsmouth are leading an environmental project to repopulate the Solent with native oysters.
Before they are put into the sea, the shells need to be cleaned to remove any pollutants or bacteria which could contaminate the marine environment.
This is an all-day volunteering session, from 9:30 to 4pm, and you need to register here to participate: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/final-straw-foundation-38668849343
