Who this task will support
Bromley Mencap
Bromley Mencap is an independent, self-funded charity working with disabled people. Based in the London Borough of Bromley, we’ve been supporting disabled people since 1951. Each year, we provide support for over 1,400 families through our telephone helpline, over 200 adults experience better lives through our adult care or leisure services, 180 families benefit from our children and family services and we provide employment support to over 250 disabled adults.

Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

Bromley Mencap have some huge wooden sleepers which they would like shifting and making into some flower beds outside their Lodge centre in Norman Park.

There are various things you can get involved with:

💪 Moving the sleepers

🪵 Sawing them up

📐 Positioning them to create flower beds

We will start at 10am (after parkrun - feel free to run first) and aim to be finished by 11:30 at the latest - but leave when you need to.

It's a good idea to bring some gardening gloves if you have some.

How are you getting there?

Apologies for the late notice but this has been cancelled. Unfortunately the person who was going to meet us isn't able to any more, but we will reschedule the task for another time in the next few weeks. Keep your eyes peeled.
