Tidying the rose beds in Beverley Park
Help this outdoor space to thrive

Date and time
18:30 - 20:30GoodGym Merton and GoodGym Kingston are teaming up once again - this time to support Friends of Beverley Park in New Malden with a big tidy-up of the beautiful rose beds.
The weeds have taken over a little, so we’ll need plenty of hands to make a real difference in this first session. Bring a friend if you can, along with gardening gloves and, if possible, a hand trowel or secateurs (though we’re hoping some tools will be provided too).
This area of the park was once regularly maintained by local volunteers, but many have since moved away. By giving it a good blitz now, we can help bring it back to life - and hopefully inspire regular community sessions to keep it thriving. We’re certainly planning to return!
Join us for a group run and task from the Raynes Park Tavern. Meet at 6.30pm for a 2.2m run there and a 2.2km run back. If you would prefer to meet us there at 7pm the location is the Beverley Park entrance opposite The Mount (KT3 4AU) - we will be near to the Britain in Bloom award (sign, pictured). On arrival, Marian and Natalie should be there to brief and guide us. Depending on the weather, consider bringing a hat and carry an extra layer in case it gets chilly.

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us or see if there's a starter session coming up in your area.
