Date and time
09:45 - 18:00Join us at St Pancras International station about 9:45 - near the Pancras Road entrance and Benugo coffee shop - and we'll catch the 10:04 train to Dover. A return ticket to Dover Priory will cover the trip back from Folkstone
You can also pick up that train at Stratford International (10:12) or Ebbsfleet (10:23). Or get a train from Charing Cross, Waterloo East or London Bridge and meet us at Dover Priory station at 11:15
The walk is a moderately challenging 13 km hike, beginning with a climb from Dover to the top of the famous White Cliffs, offering spectacular views of the English Channel
The trail features varied landscapes, including open downland, the unique Samphire Hoe Chalk Marl park, and many coastal views, finishing near Folkestone Harbour
We'll stop for food and drink at Folkestone. The narrow, cobbled, sloped Old High Street was one of Charles Dickens' favourite streets and is now at the heart of Folkestone's Creative Quarter. This part of Folkestone is full of independent businesses and restaurants, surrounded by colourful restored buildings
The train back goes from Folkestone Central
