5 runners ran to a community garden, then back again
Another impressively and refreshingly frosty evening, cold yes, but not enough to keep to our hardest on their sofa. These temperature defying runners layered up and met the cold head on.
This week's random question "what one album or artist woud you take with you to a deserted island?" A host of eclectic answers from Adele, Led Zeppelin to Fleetwood mac (rumours) . A decent selection indeed.
We then chewed the proverbial fat, as we bounced easterly towards our task for the evening. Unfortunately once we arrived, there was no one there. After speaking to our contact, in turns out she had an unfortunate calendar mix up. These things happen.
Every cloud has a silver lining, and we turned this into a positive outing. As we managed to get a 4 mile continuous run in (with a tiny stop)...some intervals for the speed merchants on the return leg too. That's a very good aerobic workout deposited in your bank of fitness.
Next week we are at Mobile Garden City....nice and close. get involved
ps sign up for this Saturday's park run please.
Catch you all very soon!
