All good in the pud
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Coventry.
- Wednesday, 11th of November 2020
One GoodGym runner ran/walked 2.5km to collect some groceries for an older Coventry resident who had not been able to leave her home for some time.
After a brief discussion with Mrs C about acceptable substitutions on her list in case any shelves were empty, I ran down to the local super mega supermarket.
Most of the items were easy to find, but the tin foil was hiding somewhere I wasn’t expecting it to be, and I spent some time deliberating over puddings- is sticky toffee pudding an acceptable substitute for treacle sponge? Luckily, Mrs C was happy with the choice I made, and we had a brief chat on the doorstep as I dropped off the bag of shopping.
