All I Want For Christmas Is My Tinned Corned Beef
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hammersmith and Fulham.
- Tuesday, 22nd of December 2020
In true Christmas spirit, I have re-written the lyrics to a famous festive song. So please, read (or sing) this run report to the tune of ‘Santa Claus is Coming To Town’...
Mission for Mrs J, shopping for tins, Cabbage and lettuce and bags for her bins, Because GoodGym Lucy was coming around.
Working through her list, loo roll and cheese slice, She wanted mushrooms and cans of creamed rice, GoodGym Lucy was coming around.
Baked beans and soup and carrots, Fruity pineapple, mandarins, Getting sweetcorn, tomatoes, The basket’s full of tins.
Potatoes and milk, loo roll and fruit squash, Go to the checkout and pay with my dosh, GoodGym Lucy’s going around,
There wasn’t any corned beef, But I still got the rest, Back to Mrs J’s house, Task done, I did my best.
Oh good deed done and the mission’s complete, Time to go home and put up my feet, Because GoodGym Lucy has come around.
Merry Christmas!
