Allot of fun was had last night!
10 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Redbridge.

On a pleasant summer evening 10 Goodgym runners met in Wanstead to run 6km and clear the weeds at Redbridge Allotments.
With the regular group welcoming James and Graeme - visiting from GG Islington - it was a case of 'many hands make light work'. The evening began with short run to Nutter Lane and the Redbridge Allotments, the location of the night's tasks. The allotment will be hosting a Halloween Healthy Eating event in October. While there are several months to get things done, the recent rain and warmer temperatures have encouraged the weeds to sprout between the raised beds. This is the perfect task for Goodgym and with a seconds thought the team were plucking weeds from the ground with abandon.
After almost 40 minutes of doing good it was time to head for the local trails and rack up some miles. With Andy leading the way, the group meandered along the River Roding through Wanstead Park and back to base. With resident Physio Ellie, in attendance it was time for "Ellie's stretch of the week" which involved a warrior pose aimed at opening the hips and lengthening the hamstrings.
Another great task and gorgeous run around Wanstead. Great to meet Graham who is aiming to visit every Goodgym in London over 12 months. He's half way there and we're certain he'll make the next 11 over the comings months. Well done Graham!
