An Occasion for Aeration

Local community gardening on the cards for yesterday's task, a fresher day that lent itself well to running, a nice cooling breeze aiding thermoregulation.
We discussed "If you could grow anything, what would you grow?" With the condition that it has to be something that actually does grow. Dan started off with Cherries, apparently in concentrated form a good training recovery aid, also they're simply delicious. Raspberries for Hils, without any hesitation. Kevin went for Truffles, presumably because he'd flog them, or he loves truffles? Mushrooms and Peppers for Rosa, a practically minded answer. Mangoes for myself, have them rarely, but they're divine. Sharon contemplated her answer with great care.... problem is I've now forgotten - maybe bananas? We'll find out next week.
We reached Get Out with Paul joining us on route. The ladies took to the aerating task, while the chaps weeded and swept. Both teams provided effective assistance to the gardens requirements, any comparison of their works should be dismissed immediately. In all seriousness, aeration looked a pretty thankless, great work persevering.
Next week's task is almost confirmed - doing a block booking for the week's ahead now. Let me know if you have any tips or requests.
Have a great weekend and good luck to those towing the line at Vitality 10k.
Till next week,
B
