An uphill struggle

On a cold, wet, snowy morning, I jumped on my bike and headed the 2 miles to pick up a shopping list from Mr M. Although the distance was short, it was all uphill...and after days of very little activity, apart from eating, a short ride was all I could manage 🤔 Mr M was in good spirits, having enjoyed a quiet festive period. More uphill peddling and I was soon at Asda which, though busy, was well stocked. I managed to pick up everything on the list, and was back on the road within a relatively short time. Mr M was very grateful to have his essential shopping done and again to be able to have a chat.
