And now for something completely different
7 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Trafford.
- Wednesday, 24th of March 2021
- Led by Kate Frain
This week’s mission was, I think, a first for Goodgym Trafford - a virtual mission. No gardening gloves or hairnets required, just a computer, half an hour, a cup of tea and a box of tissues. Seven Goodgymers were able to review / provide feedback on the ‘Shine a Light on Suicide’ training module, designed to train as many residents, community groups and volunteers about suicide prevention awareness. The content was of a challenging nature but hopefully, those trained would have a improved awareness of the problems and a better chance of helping someone in need.

Well done to all who took part. A vital role, and much needed awareness. I missed this but would be interested in taking the training.
Hi Pauline. Hope you’re well. I’ll send you the info and link. I think there is still time for you to share your feedback about the training so if you do do that then please self log as a good deed. Thanks and take care,Kate xx
