6 GoodGymers ran 5k to St Andrews Youth Club to transform an Art store room!
Wonderful Wednesday was in full swing as we gathered at our New Balance base ready for action! Looks like a few of the Squad was away for half term this week so we had to make up the smaller crew with extra graft!
Heading out on a super busy Oxford Street we weaved our way South on a 2.5k route to St Andrews Youth Club. Meeting Adrian we had a huge task ahead to transform the amazingly overgrown Art cupboard! There was just so much stuff stretching back to 1984 that needed to be sorted and most chucked out.
Setting up a great speedy moving system everything had to go! We got into a super rhythm and dominated the task! 40 minutes of excellence completed the task and we even had a chance to watch Francis play ** Solitaire marbles**.
Still full of energy we extended our route back to base and added in a 15 minute Stair Circuit!! really testing the leg Strength, Balance, Endurance and Coordination of the squad!! Bouncing up and down the 50 stair course incorporating some tough exercises.
With a top workout under our belts we ran back stretched out and headed home with a top night of exercise fun complete!!
See you all next week for another dose of GoodGym magic!
Have a great week
