Asda Isle of Birds
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Monday, 27th of April 2020
Since lockdown started I have been going around most superstores for groceries shopping and somehow I believe that out of all stores Asda manages to keep the best control over the shelf & warehouse supply, but I may be wrong or it might be just this particular Asda I go to - the one in Isle of Dogs. Today Mr C kindly asked procurement of some basic personal caring stuff such as razors, shaving gel, deodorant but also some chocolate and rice crisps at the end of the list. It very much reminded me of my sweet Uni days when I was shopping for personal caring essentials: toiletries, cosmetics & always some sweets if the budget would have allowed :).
Got to Asda car park where I was surprised by 2 ducks which seemed to politely be joining the queue and wandering among the people who were lining up, then once out of the store 2 pigeons came around - must have been some bird ceremony today.
Fortunately enough all items requested on the list were covered in the budget and I was very happy to deliver the goodies in the end. Mr C repeatedly thanked GG for the service.
