Beasty does it: lunchtime grocery drop

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

I’m back in London for a few days and had the pleasure of staying with a dear friend and fellow GG’er, who generously loaned me their bike - aka The Beast - so I could get to and from Southwark.

The going was pretty smooth and I enjoyed the evolving cityscape as I peddled by on a bike I could have worn a hoop skirt on, had I wanted to. Beast is a pretty trusty and stable steed and it also helped shift me in to beast-mode to get my task done as quickly as possible.

No, this post isn’t about a bicycle or favourite friends… it’s about the communities we’re a part of and helping a vulnerable person get food for the week.
