On a sunny July Sunday morning, a couple of goodgymers helped out at Marston Forest Garden. The main tasks for the day revolved around removing weeds from the forest floor, including any stubborn bramble roots and pesky bindweed.

In the process of replacing the protective netting from several of the bushes and trees, we started to find the first fruits from a white berry and red berry bush!! Very hopeful for growing food in the long term for this project and they were very tasty. Jo planted some mint around the plot and Ben finished removing more nettles from the site before heading home. Anthony, Isabella and Rhian kept us plenty busy and entertained while Richard was preparing a trestle fence for the site. We'll likely be back before too long!
