Bridging the gap
10 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Croydon.

Last night we welcomed Jenny to her first GoodGym Croydon session, she had recently moved to London from Norwich and tried our neighbours over in Westminster, enjoyed it and decided to try one closer to home.
Unfortunately, after calling our task owner to confirm that we would be still coming along despite the rain, she gave me the bad news that our task was cancelled and with the weather as it was yesterday, I guess we could call it a blessing in disguise.
Despite the rain it didn’t stop our regulars and some of our newer members to come and joins us, as they all came in I had to inform them that the task had been cancelled and we would be doing a fitness session instead. For those of us with daily steps goals we talked about how many steps we had done and how much we were looking forward to the run in order to meet our daily targets.
Unbeknown to them although we were not going to be running outside I had a plan up my sleeves to help them achieve their target.
We started off the session with running on the spot and a few leg and arm looseners before getting into the session. In between each exercise they had to run/jog on the spot for 30 secs. We did an array of exercises that focused on our core and arms all using our body weight except for 2 exercises in which we used the 2 and 5kg medicine balls.
Monogamous/Polyamorous
Magda showed us her impressive flexibility by doing a couple bridges, despite aching from hers and Dovile’s weekend fitness challenge in which they vowed that next year to bring their “Husbands and Boyfriends” but was quick to reassure us that they were in monogamous relationships and not polyamorous relationships.
Massive thanks to the staff of Solutions for allowing us to use an area of the Gym for our fitness session
This weeks mentions Nina completed her 5th task. Sarah first coach visit. Emma first coach visit.
