Tonight was the first GG of summer! Well it was light, but by heck it was cold! The task was the canal litter pick, as it was cold the group did their interval session before the task. The sess was a pyramid of efforts starting at 30 seconds, up to 1 minute, then back down to 30 secs. Everyone pushed hard, it was great to see and it soon warmed them all up!
Our walker Amy then joined us and it was on with the picking of litter. We filled two bags, before walking up to Aston Lock. Amy then did the selfie duties, before we ran back along the canal, through the city centre and back to 1000 Trades. Once back in the warmth it was time for a well earned drink :)
