Cereal-ously Good Sorting
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Birmingham.
- Saturday, 28th of November 2020
- Led by Birmingham runner
I joined two others for the Saturday morning sorting shift at Cannock Foodbank.
As usual, we went through crates of donations, sorting them into their respective areas, before dating them and putting them away on their shelves.
There was a lot of cereal today (hence the pun) and we managed to get through all of the donations designated for today (i.e. those that had been quarantined for sufficient time). It was a really good shift and it was great to be able chat with the others whilst working (and whilst listening to a few Christmas songs for the first time, which put me in a festive mood).
