The Hygiene Bank provides essential hygiene and personal care products to those living in poverty. From deodorant to shower gel, and everything in between, this incredible charity is helping to tackle hygiene poverty throughout the UK – one donation at a time
So, spured on by Random Acts of Kindness Week, I decided to have a trawl around to gather together suitable toiletries to donate. I managed quite a haul, including a number of gift sets, from family and friends.
Boots stores across the country have set up donation stations. Liverpool's Clayton Square is nearest to me, and as I was over that way, it was an ideal opportunity to drop off the goods.
There are so many things that most of us take for granted...such as having access to basic hygiene products. Sadly, this is not the case for all. Hopefully, our donations will help those in need. I will continue to collect and donate whatever I can.
