On a beautiful sunny and crisp morning 263 people ran/walked/jogged there way around Catton Park many then running home to catch the Rugby World Cup final. Luckily warden Matt had set up a TV in the lodge so we could keep an eye on proceedings. There was a few parkrun tourists today and first timers, always good to see. I had quite a few conversations with park runners today regarding the benefits of Parkrun, getting outside at every opportunity to walk, jog or run our way around this park, and, if we want, to engage with others, before, during or after our 5K Saturday morning. You don’t have to talk, sometimes we want to be on our own but still part of a wider group. Just knowing someone’s there can be a massive help to our wellbeing. Not only Parkrun ethos also our GoodGym one.
