Dishing the Dirt
10 GoodGymers made their way 3.0km to help the Real Junk Food Project in Brighton.

10 Goodgymmers met last night for some unusually energetic autumnal activities. We started with a short jog to the Real Junk Food project on Gardner Street, where the inspirational Emma laid on a veritable harvest festival of activities for us to choose from according to our level of freakishness. There were floors to be vacuumed, fridges to be cleaned out and for the weirdos in the basement kitchen (the Rosies and Angela), walls to wipe and satisfyingly greasy extractor fan hoods to transform.
Michael successfully corralled us back outside for a run down to the i360, where Tara had us doing some actually quite fun exercises involving high planks and crawling on the floor next to the spooky remains of the West Pier.
We then gratefully headed back along the beach and through the city for our social at the North Laine Brewhouse (thank you to Michelle for organising!), where we talked about knitting and bonfires. Wholesome or what?
We’re also looking forward to Christmas (keep an eye on the WhatsApp group for details) and our next Parkrun meetup this Saturday at Hove Prom. See you there!
