Don't sit down cos I moved your chair
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Good Afternoon Goodgymmers! Natalie and I wandered to Mr. E's house to help him move some furniture so there would be space for his hospital bed. This was my second mission of the morning, and my first mission was super speedy so I got to the second mission early. I was about 20 minutes early so stood outside Mr. E's door looking super shifty.
I was greeted by S, who was guiding us through the move, saw me lurking outside the house and soon Natalie arrived. We entered the house where we were greeted with Mr. E's very realistic looking stuffed cat, and his late wife's fabulous wardrobe. We had a quick chat about how we wanted to move things around, and this mostly involved moving stuff up and down some stairwells. Natalie had the opportunity to display her guns, by lifting an actual column up the flight of stairs (it was lighter than it looked) and within about an hour we were done.
We cleared a massive space to fit a bed and reclining chair and an area where he could have some people over for a chat. S went the extra mile to make sure the area looked nice as well, so Mr. E would be comfortable, which was lovely. You could see how much she cared about Mr. E.
We finished up and then headed back out into the sunshine. Natalie and I walked home where we talked about postponed vacations, and what we would do once all these restrictions were lifted. Fingers cross it would be sometime soon.
Stay safe goodgymmers.
