Dropping your guard, into the pile
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Colne Valley Tree Society in Huddersfield.

This week we were at Scammonden Water as advertised. The weather was not as forecast but we soldiered on. Four people took part in the task. We were; myself, Kati Law, David Bilton and first-timer Louise. We met at the car park and set off along Sledgate. It was nearly back to the good old days of Goodgym as we ran together to get to the first location for the task. Over the fence into the field of trees, Colne Valley Tree Society had left a collection of trash guards bagged up and ready for the runners. It was a case of getting past the trees with the said guards to the skip collection spot at the bottom of the hill. There was the wet grass and uneven ground to contend with but no complaints, just interested talk. And three journeys together to three differing locations and back, our time was up. Thanks to all tonight's participants for their efforts in getting the job done. (John, that includes you.)
