For this week’s run we ran east to Easton to help Up Our Street spruce up their local park. After a quick warm up and introduction from Chris we headed out along the newly re-opened cycle path to Easton. This week’s task was to help tidy up Albion Road Green Space. It was not possible to sand and paint the railings because of the rain, so we got stuck in to some heavy weeding. We pulled out loads of weeds and ivy and found all sorts, including all kinds of tennis balls, footballs and bouncing balls. We even found time for a tea break and some flapjacks – thanks Up Your Street! With the task done we headed back to Roll for the Soul back down the cyclepath, setting a good pace all the way home.
