24 boxes of Happy Eggs were donated to FoodCycle for Tuesday’s dinner. But before they can be used they needed to know that they were all ok, so I was asked to test them all. So this afternoon saw me in the kitchen checking for any cracked ones (there were four) and testing the other 140 individually in a jug of water. The majority sank like a stone meaning they were fine, but there were two floaters which would be consigned to the bin. After testing the eggs were then all dried, placed back in their boxes, sorted by best before date and packed up ready to be delivered to FoodCycle.
