Yeah!! We double whammied at Bexley Goodgym last night. After our warm up we headed out on the streets of Crooklog with Greenwich and Bexley Hospice colour run leaflets in hand. Weaving in and out of the drive ways like a well oiled machine we made sure we were heading in the direction of Danson Park and the Old English Rose Gardens for our second task of the evening.
WEAVING IN AND OUT OF THE DRIVE WAYS LIKE A WELL OILED MACHINE
On arrival at the gardens we gathered round for our safety briefing before being let loose with the tools :-) Tonights good deed involved everyone selecting a large over grown pillar and then tidying and cutting back the blossoms and branches. We also had a team in charge of cutting back a weeping willow tree that was blocking the path way. I was personally expecting the team to trim the bushes into works of art like an eagle, or maybe dolphin but alas i was to be disappointed and it never happened. But hey, it look absolutely brilliant when we had finished.
After 40 minutes of hard work and squatting blood sucking mosquito's from our legs, arms and heads it was time for a sprint finish back to base camp Crooklog to end another perfect Monday evening at Bexley Goodgym.

Have an awesome week Goodgymers
