1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Haringey.

The lockdown ticks along and Akwaaba Hackney keeps support those in need.
This weekend I ran the Teens online session, teaching the kids how to draw in the style of Japanese Manga. I taught them the basics of drawing faces and different emotions which they picked up very quickly! Then for the end of the session I let the teens chose what they wanted to draw. They unamiously chose... A zombie heart. Good thing I was a star student in biology!
Then Sunday I doubled up on shifts once again, starting off at St Paul's Church to pack over 200 takeaway bags for the local homeless community before heading down to Dalston Curve Garden to distribute food to our overflow guests.
Special thanks this week to Hackney Council who sprayed social distance queue markers so that our visitors could stay safe.
