Four Ton Muckers
6 GoodGymers made their way 10.2km to help the Penrose Roots to Recovery in Luton.

Today's group run and task was all about breaking new ground. Six of us ran a 4km route to lend a hand with a new Penrose Roots to Recovery garden.
Bulk bags of earth and compost delivered to the garden entrance needed to be united with a number of newly built raised beds, and the GoodGym energy and enthusiasm was brought to bear, along with some strong-arm shoveling tactics and barrow racing. We brought our toil to the soil, shifting four tons of the stuff and had the satisfaction of looking back (in the dark) to see each bed filled to the brim.
The jog back to town was somewhat more sedate and punctuated by a 'stretch and cool down' pause at the park railings.
