Awesome fun on our first visit to Springfield Park!!
Shoveling a massive tonne bag full to the brim of loose gravel to help keep cyclists on their bikes as they ride through the park.
Amazing to have Clair, Frankie and Victoria along for a great evening. A top run from London Fields and a very indirect cycle for Victoria.
Meeting Joe from Springfield park who set us up with tools and we got cracking removing all the loose gravel from the pathway which had not bonded correctly. The loose gravel was causing problems for cyclists riding through the park.
Frankie on the broom sweeping the loose gravel into piles and then the rest of us shoveling, shifting and tipping the gravel into a tonne bag.
Getting into a top rhythm we piled high and filled the whole bag in 45 minutes of big effort.
A strong run back smashing through 6k for the evening rounded off a great session!!
Look forward to seeing you again soon.
