Getting a handle on things
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Friday, 24th of January 2020
Two GoodGym runners arrived for a mission to help rearrange the beds in Mr N's bedroom so he would have more space to move around using his frame when he gets home from hospital. When we arrived and met Mr N's wife she told us there had been a slight change of plan - Mr N would now be sleeping in the other room where there was more space, so no rearrangement was required!
Luckily we were still able help Mr and Mrs N out by assembling the bedside grab handle that they had been provided, and securing it in position next to the bed to make getting in and out much easier. A different task to what we were expecting, but great that we could still help out!
