Undeterred by the rubbish weather - Mel, Fi, Richard, Julie and I headed to our favourite little nature area where we were tasked to cut back the brambles and nettles around the main paths to make it more accessible for it's founders.
The rain couldn't dampen our efforts and we quickly got to work filling up some huge garden waste bags with mighty brambles and before long the path was looking a lot clearer. When the heavens really opened, we took shelter and were treated to cups of tea and cake before we headed back to finish off. When we were done, the path could be easily be seen and the bench could be reached too which is great as the founders love to come and sit there and enjoy the wildlife that love the space!
