GoodGym Bristol turns to the dark side
For the latest GoodGym Bristol run, Halloween came one night early. This was the darkest, coldest and one of the wettest runs we’ve ever done, and we had a record turn out! Thanks to everyone who came.
We met at Roll for the Soul and after a quick warm up ran up to Birdcage Walk in Clifton. This week’s task was to clear leaves and branches away from the gravestones (that’s the Halloween part!) on either side of the walkway. Our larger than usual group set to the task with relish, and the collection of dim streetlights, reflective clothing and headtorches creating an eery atmosphere on a cold and rainy night.
We completed the run by heading back down the hill and along the harbour back to where we started.
Thanks to everyone that came, especially all the new people and members of the University Cross Country team who were fantastic. We hope to see you all again next time.
The next run is this Saturday 2nd November, meeting 11.00 at Roll for the Soul. More information here
GoodGym Bristol has also been nominated for a Voscur – Best Idea into Action. We’d really appreciate it if you voted for us here
