Gr8 GGrunching
3 GoodGymers made their way 9.0km on a training session in Sheffield.
- Wednesday, 16th of August 2017
- Led by Sam Needham
We didn't see a kingfisher this week, but there were plenty of dragonflies and a mother duck & ducklings to (almost) make up for the lack of a flash of blue on the water of the canal.
Speedy Suze flew off, leaving Sluggish Sam and Super Sarah in her wake for a fair portion of the 9k run. It felt more like August, with muggy conditions making the prospect of running seem like hard work. It was a good work out, anyway. A spot of tree climbing from Suze at the turn around point broke things up nicely, as well as a mini mooch around in the hope of setting eyes on the resident kingfisher.
Join us next week for GG runch #9. Hopefully we can get 9 GGers together for the 9th Wednesday lunch run! It would be fitting!
