Great community mission? Better be-leaf it!
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the Russell Square Gardens in Camden.
- Saturday, 5th of September 2020
- Led by Ben
For the third week, we joined the lovely volunteers - local workers and residents - from the Friends of Russell Square Volunteer Gardening Group. Six GoodGymmers from far and wide (even one from outside London!) came to help with raking the leaves, which will kill the grass and other plants if left to break down where they fall. Stay tuned for more community missions here to help maintain this iconic park - including a coming bulb-planting session. And also, great tip from Katrin - if you're booking a visit at the newly re-opened British Museum, why not stop in and put in an hour at an easygoing, friendly community mission just around the corner before you go?
