Sports Day

Somers Town Community Centre are holding a Sports Day in a couple of weeks time. Their arena (aka the park) is in a terrible state. We decided to help them clean it up. Afterwards we legged it down to granary square and gave the canal bank a quick clear up too. We found some cracking stuff (including a few unmentionable items), including bits of boat, a bag of clothes and an artisans sandwich. Dan even managed to get a Tar-too on his ankle.....basically a tar shaped smudge that looked like a dragon. Hopefully the kids can race trouble few round the park next week. I done a poem to commemorate it!

Using pickers we collected Knickers. In bin bags we stuffed fags. Picking on the canal is for from banal, Especially when folk discover bits of boat

Run the Risk

We finished the night with some intervals and exercises; running out along the road for a set period, before smashing it back 10 sec quicker after a short rest. We also did a few planks- something for everyone I'm sure you'll agree.
