Ice to Meet You!
7 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Haringey.
- Sunday, 19th of January 2020
- Led by Rebecca
Seven runners got up bright and early, battling frost and ice to help out at Priory Park Junior Park Run.
This week's run was being directed by the very enthusiastic Andy who was thrilled to have some extra help especially with many icy corners that the young runners needed to avoid.
Danny, Kat, Anne & Toyin were on this very important task, high fiving the runners as they passed. Julie and Shona keep the time as runners passed through the funnel, with pro Shona showing the Julie the ropes. And Rebecca scan barcodes and time codes, registering all the scores.
With a speedy young bunch of park runners the race was over in no time. As our GoodGymmers were about to wrap up, Chi arrived to take a group shot and celebrate Danny's 200th mission with cake! (Thanks Liz).
Our GoodGymmers enjoyed the task so much we'll be setting up a regular mission, so come join in the fun!
