In Crate Haste

Must be at least six months since we last set foot in Abbey Gardens. Now they have the key to the gates reckon it could be much more regular, as not dependent on council opening times. We were welcomed by Alice, who's working there as part of her studies, a PHD I think, about the commons, interesting stuff.
Two groups tackled weeding and crate deconstruction. The crate clan began by using a precise high impact strategy (man - hit - wood - with - rock), then evolved into a more fluid and calm sawing action, which worked significantly better. The weeding team worked effortlessly and quickly further down the gardens, I know not of their struggle, but guessing they did a fine job looking at pictorial evidence.
I was personally there to get the insight on HM running experiences and weekend gossip. Hils and Dan with shiny new PB's, think they might be the only two, big hats off to them. Loads of other great efforts, but importantly sounds like a corking weekend of running, laughing and gallivanting around Brighton. Well done to all, especially those organisers and agitators making things happen.
Next week we dash over to Cody Dock, with your fully recovered legs, sign up 'ere
Till next week,
