It never rains, but it pours

A wet, windy Wednesday and a second shopping trip ahead. I set off on my bike to meet a new couple, D&S.
Having lived happily in their home for 15 years, D&S had to move into a bungalow, as D could no longer manage the stairs. In order to stay near their friends, they moved just the other side of their estate, but thanks to lockdown, have found themselves isolated.
S has been undergoing chemotherapy every month, for three years, but has recently started weekly treatments. She is very independent, and at just 50, is finding it difficult to accept help.
They were both so very grateful when I delivered their essential shopping, and are now happy to make a call, should they need help in the future.
