It's cool to clean!
13 GoodGymers made their way 1.0km to help their local community in Norwich.

On a chilly and damp Sunday lunchtime 13 keen Goodgymers plus a few budding GoodGymers - aka Fletcher, Evie and Wills along with Sean* joined several other volunteers to take part in a massive litter pick of Norwich. Organised by Pure Clean Earth the plan was to pick up as much litter as we could in an hour and to raise awareness of the problem of plastics and other waste on our environment. After a talk by Dan from Pure Clean Earth, we all set off to see what we could find (with instructions not to cheat and empty the litter bins!) . The Goodgym Gang split up into smaller groups and went off in different directions so that we could cover as much of the area as possible. Having done a few litter picks on previous Goodgym runs we were pretty skilled at spotting debris in unusual places and soon filled up our bags. Thanks to Frin's creative thinking the mini Goodgymers had BBQ tongs to help collect their rubbish! An hour later and an estimated 50kg of rubbish collected in total we all headed off to dry off and warm up!
*we were surprised that Sean was prepared to have anything to do with Goodgym after last week's 'sheep poop incident'
