It’s oh so quiet, and so peaceful until...
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Norwich.
- Sunday, 25th of March 2018
We are pleased to say that we managed to locate the correct house on this visit and arrived in plenty of time to begin some stick clearing and weeding for Mr and Mrs N.
It was a sunny day so we popped on some alternative 90s tunes and got stuck in. Mr N had been stuck in the house for some time but came out to relive some tales of his youth and offer advice on our gardening work.
Once the front garden was tidy (and I have to say, we did a great job!) we moved round to the back where we helped to move some ornaments and netting from the top of the pond. Sarah was asked to use a net to remove some of the old stones and rubbish from the bottom of the pond and almost managed to catch herself some dinner in the process!
Another very rewarding and enjoyable mission completed by the trio, leaving Mr and Mrs N with smiles on their faces and a bit of fresh air in their lungs, although I’m not sure they agreed with our taste in music- “What is that noise going on anyway?”
