Jelly Legs and Custard
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Birmingham Central Foodbank in Birmingham.

4 foodbank veterans helped out at the regular Monday evening food sorting shift at the Birmingham Central Food Bank. This evening we were also joined by Leon from the church who was learning the ropes ahead of taking over running the sessions in a few weeks.
It was once again a great effort from all the GG'ers and the foodbank volunteers, helping to sort out a bumper number of donations. This weeks highlights include boxes and boxes of custard (hence the pun!) and rice pudding. Ben and Dave made short work of weighing in the donations, whilst Louise worked busily away in the back room sorting through and dating the donations.
Everyone put in a great effort and worked tremendously to sort through all the food, hopefully we aren't all feeling achey tomorrow (again, hence the pun! (ooh look at that, double punnage! (ooft, now we're into the third bracket too!))).
Anyway, fantastic job all, looking forward to seeing you again soon, stay safe,
Liam
