Lavenderhilljob
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Saturday, 4th of November 2017
After a cake pit stop at the roll in the soul cafe, the three secateurs Paul, Richard and David set off for the gardening mission in Bedminster. Despite cake in belly syndrome we made good pace up a few Hilly sections and arrived on the dot. Mrs A welcomed us with a lovely smile and led us to the back yard. Richard and Paul set off with a gust of energy clearing all the weeds that have made a home in the patio gaps. David was tasked with reducing a shrub of unknown name to a foot off the ground. The Lavender was also given a trim. We then cleared a bed of weeds ready for the next blooming generation of floral delights. Richard then showed amazing broom technique to clean the patio of all the debris. His kitchen must be emaculate at home. We finally bagged all the green waste and placed it at the front ready for collection. With our green fingers rejuvenated we set off back to roll in the soul happy in the knowledge that Mrs A can look out of her window to see a clearer garden space.๐
