How come it rains every Tuesday at 6.30? For the third week in a row, 14 Coventry GoodGym runners set off on their task in the pouring rain. Today we welcomed Mark for his first GoodGym run. We took a slightly more scenic run to get to Mind Coventry's Wellbeing Hub in Spon Street. Once here we were greeted by Rachael and Ellie and we set about our task of spring cleaning the rooms where people attend social groups and support groups all year around. We cleaned, swept, painted, sorted and mopped and soon the building was looking like new. We then learnt a little more about the work done at the Hub.
The rain seemed to be still coming down so we headed to a new top sectret location- under the ringroad to complete 6 x 100m reps to get a bit of speed in our legs.
Once back at Drapers, we had a social and enjoyed the great food from Arabian bites and enjoyed chatting #GreatGetTogether Today's [Google Doodle] is particularly apt (https://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en&ictx=2&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjK7qW08_PiAhUPY8AKHQ2tBkgQPQgH)
Lovely to see you all and well done to those of you who completed an extra Good deed tonight, superstars.
See you all next week. Follow this link to find out more about the Community Mission this Friday from 4pm at the Transport Museum for Dome in a day
