#23 saw 32 juniors at Lea Bridges for the first run of 2020. So good to see so many, hopefully many will continue through out the year. The weather was kind today, not too cold. Everyone was very enthusiastic during the warm up including the two junior marshals at the top of the hill (see photo) I wished Iโd video it, it was so good to see ๐ I was Timekeeper today, first time at a Junior parkrun, not so much of a high level of concentration as yesterday, giving me more shouting time to encourage them over the line. The head of steam these juniors give when they see the finish funnel is awesome ๐โโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ As always the roster for volunteering is a little sparse, please think about giving a little time on a Sunday morning to this worthwhile community mission, because itโs only 2K you can be finish by 9.30 even if you help clear up at the end which is not a necessity (but always welcome) if you choose a marshal spot near the start youโll be finished by 9.10 and like me can then rush off and watch my grandson play football. Email: Lea Bridges-juniorshelpers@parkrun.com you wonโt regret it.
Thanks Michelle for volunteering and for the Eaton Juniors photos! :)
Below is the future roster for the juniors at Eaton park. There are many marshal spaces free in order to ensure the course is covered for the Juniors and their families.
