Mr Men who?

Today our warm up adult had a routine we were to warm up to Mr Men characters. Exciting we thought until he asked the juniors who their favourite character was, who?? Not one of them new who they were, only a handful of their adult new 🙈 dear me I felt VERY old. After that lovely warm up, it was over to the start, ready, steady, go and they were off, with me as the Tail Walker. The first 3 minutes I had to run to keep up with the pack, luckily for me the pace dropped to a walk. I had a lovely walk with 2 siblings 8 & 10 yr old with a jog to various points, we discussed their views about their goals for themselves to improve their fitness, not worrying about those running faster past them. Making your own goals, very good advice. They were able to finish in there own PBs which they were pleased about.
