Mission

Nearly Breadless Nick

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

Mrs M and I made our introductions and had a good doorstep chat as she passed over her shopping list, cash and loyalty card (gotta get those points). She asked if it was my first time doing a shopping mission and I had to admit that yep, it was! She was keen to pass on her advice - "don't let anyone get you to carry half of Tesco home, love" - and with that pep talk I set off for the Co-op.

I got nearly everything on the list there, but they were completely out bread & Mrs M was after two loaves. So I popped into M&S to pick those up and headed back to drop it all off. Mrs M was very happy with the haul and thanked me for the help.
