No one was bricking it today
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Sunday, 7th of June 2020
Today, Sam and I used our run to help out Mr B by moving some furniture.
He's only recently come home from hospital, and due to some changes with his health, is using a wheelchair more often. His home (full of Lego and sci-fi paraphernalia - I was a tad jealous of some of it!) needed rearranging so he could go back and forth more safely and easily.
Sam and I quickly moved the main items - Sam stopping only to rescue a few wee plastic people who'd fallen behind the sofa - and soon everything was in the right place. At Mr B's request, we also quickly rehung the curtains before making our way on with the rest of our day. Mission accomplished!
